Camping!

Bottle Rockets!
Ignite your imagination and engineering prowess as you design and launch your very own rockets into the skies. With ingenuity and teamwork, Cub Scouts will craft these mini-wonders from scratch, exploring the principles of aerodynamics and propulsion.
Feel the rush of excitement as the countdown begins and the moment of liftoff arrives. The thrill of witnessing your creations soar high above is simply unmatched! Our experienced leaders will guide and inspire your young astronauts, teaching valuable lessons in science, technology, and problem-solving along the way.
Whether competing in friendly rocket challenges or simply enjoying the spectacle of your rockets reaching for the stars, this adventure will leave lasting memories and a passion for exploration. Pinewood Derby!
The pinewood derby is one of the most popular and successful family activities in our pack! Pinewood derby cars are small wooden models that Cub Scouts make with help from their families. Then they race the cars in competition which includes prizes for speed and design creativity. The cars are powered by gravity and run down a track.
The Pack leaders will build tracks while you and your scout will design and build their own “grand prix” car to enter in the race.
The Pack provides the kits along with rules and instruction for design and competition. The race is scheduled during one of the Pack Meetings, typically in February.
Rain Gutter Regatta!
The Rain gutter Regatta is a racing event for Cub Scouts that is the sailboat equivalent of a Derby. The official Rain gutter Regatta Trimaran kit includes: Racing Trimaran Hull, two wooden outriggers, sail, mast, screws and sanding stick.
Within the basic design rules, Scouts are free to paint and decorate their sailboats as they choose. The Pack provides the kit and a race is scheduled during one of the Pack Meetings.
Scouts love this and parents are encouraged to let the kids use their own imaginations in decorating the boats.
Indoor Skydiving!
Soar to new heights with Cub Scouts as they experience the thrill of indoor skydiving! Adventure knows no bounds as young minds take flight in a safe and controlled environment. Indoor skydiving offers an adrenaline-pumping, gravity-defying experience that will leave Cub Scouts buzzing with excitement.
Under the expert guidance of skilled instructors, they’ll learn the art of body flight, mastering techniques that mimic the sensation of freefalling. As they float effortlessly on a cushion of air, confidence soars, and fears dissipate.
