Florida Aquarium Overnight Adventure

Arrival Time

Arrival is 7:00PM-7:30PM. Please meet at the business entrance in front of the Aquarium. All activities begin at 7:30PM.

What to bring

• Sleeping bag, mat, or air mattress, and a pillow.
• Warm clothing (it can get chilly).
• Toiletry items.
• Water bottle to fill up.
• A camera (no flash photos at night)
• Adults, in addition to the above.
• Emergency contact information for students.
• Flashlight

What to leave at home

• Students may not bring any battery powered items, electrical items, or flashlights. Adults may carry flashlights.
• Anything of personal value that could get lost.
• Outside food or beverage.

Parking and Drop-off

Drop-off participants and gear in the circle in front of the Aquarium. Parking in the Aquarium’s lot is free for sleepover participants.
Drivers should know their license tag number as it is required to complete a parking liability form.

Dinner

Your sleepover includes a light pizza snack (1 slice per person). This is a snack only. Please make sure to eat dinner before you arrive.

Breakfast

Your sleepover includes a light breakfast. Breakfast Examples: cereal and pop tarts. We will also have juice, milk, and coffee. (see “Information for Participants” document for complete list)
Please Note: Outside food and beverage cannot be brought into the Aquarium. You may bring a water bottle.

• 8:30-9:00 Pizza Snack and bathroom break
• 9:00-9:45 Activity One
• 9:45-10:30 Activity Two
• 10:30-11:00 Prepare for lights out
• 11:00 Lights out

Saturday

• 7:15-7:45AM Wake up
• 7:45-8:30 Breakfast
• 8:45-9:00 Animal Encounter
• 9:00-9:30 Touch habitats
• 9:30 Sleepover ends. Tour Aquarium on own (approx. 2 hours to see everything)
