We had a very successful pinewood derby event this past Saturday. 32 scouts created cars and competed for fun and spirit. The races were very close as the difference between 1st place and last place was less than 1 second! (0.85 to be exact).
With all the extra activities (paper mazes, crossword puzzles, match box cars, making Twinkie Cars, etc), everyone appeared to enjoy the event.
We want to extend a big THANK YOU to our volunteers who came early to the Church and setup the track, decorate the hall, and served pizzas and drinks. These individuals help usher our program to new heights and elevate our scout’s experience to the fullest. From the bottom of our hearts THANK YOU!
Also want to extend a BIG THANK YOU to Dominic and Angelo from Troop 431 as they help run and conduct the race with the race track. Thank you Gentlemen!
